Primary for Democratic registrar looms

Democrats will face a primary in the race to pick a successor to their party’s registrar of voters.
Though Democrats voted 37-14 Monday to endorse Elliott Nelson, the city’s Democratic chair, the final decision will be made by rank-and-file Democrats in an Aug. 10 primary.
Mary Rydingsward, who fell short in when party loyalists voted, said afterward she would seek to overturn the decision by reaching out to ordinary Democrats.
“I didn’t expect as an outsider to get the nomination,” she said.
Rydingsward and Nelson will compete for the right to take the $46,000-a-year job that Bob Badal is giving up when his term ends this year

Sorry, Mary, but ward will have his buds out in full force. its funny how the majority of the dtc committee members voted on by ward's supporters don't show up at the monthly meetings, but as soon as one of "their own" needs to be voted in, they crawl out of the woodwork. goes to show you those people are on the committee for one thing and one thing only ... to put people in places of power to who are like minded. i was wondering if ragaini will be co-registrar since he and nelson are joined at the hip.

Mary Is For Working Families...As Far As I'm Concerned and Heard She's Not A True Democrat...She "ONLY" Wants This Position Because She Needs A Job(Unemployed/Terminated From The State of CT), As I Remember A Few Years Ago She Was Holding A Republican Sign...Going Against Cliff Block. Now She Wants A Democratic Job...The "TRUTH" Will Surface About Mary Rydingsward...Stand By.

7:16PM...I Heard The Same Thing, I'm Curious As To What She Is Going To Tell People When She Goes Door To Door To Get Signatures(Unless She Has Others Do It For Her)...She's Already Starting Out With "0" Political Credability of Which I'm Sure She Was Hoping We Wouldn't Find Out Until After The Election(If She Wins)...
Then We'd NEVER Get Her Out of The Registrar's Office...It Also Sounds Like Their Are Others Running Things For Mary Behind The Scenes...That Is Never A Good Thing! I Can't Wait To See and Hear More on Mary Rydingsward...

7:16 & 9:44 If you wish to debate what a true Democrat is get your name on your remarks. If you wish to talk history on who supports Dems at the polls and who doesn't, I can furnish some history as well.
If dirt is what this campaign is about it can be shoveled in both directions.

Amen, Jim! The dirt is coming from the team that is supporting the chosen person to run for registrar! If you're on the DTC you should be showing up for every meeting ... not just picking and choosing which one you will be at otherwise you're wasting your time and the DTC's time, plain and simple! 9:06: time to polish up your English. You apparently didn't do your homework when you were in school!
