Smart move: don't buy any more votes than you need.

The 78th will no longer have a Republican holding the seat.

9:58 When? They've held it for the past 30 years and Whit provides them yet another winning candidate.

The Republicans couldn't come up with anyone better then that old farmer? lol. He's clueless, just another Barnes clone.

Sounds all to cut and dried to me.

Was this the plan all along?

Is this like Mass: who had a "Kennedy Seat"?

Bett$ = Barne$

just another rich Republican who doesn't have to live week to week worrying about financial struggles the rest of us have to worry about.

I didn't know the size of your bank account determined your eligibility for public service. However, if Connecticut keeps on this path, none of us will have anything. Then we'll all be eligible to run. Or we can elect fiscal conservatives, like Betts, and try to save the state from bankruptcy.

Fiscal Conservative????

Word going around is that the Dems will go easy on Bettts, if the Republicans continue to go easy on Ward.
