Why is Cockayne listed THIRD in the 2nd District? I know you WANTED Lydem to win, but let's face reality.

Um, because on my sheet to record the results, the Democrats were listed first, then the Republicans, except for treasurer for some reason. Maybe I was rooting for an Anderson victory.

So much for the people wanting a change.
All Council incumbents won.
Art Ward won.
Only two new people, and they both came in second in their districts.
Maybe people don't think things are so bad after all.

Bristol will never change.

I guess it goes to show just how out of touch those of us who post on this blog are. In the end the choice was to stay with the familar and it will be politics as usual. Again, the said part in all this is the lack of voter turn out. What does that say?

Dummy, no my moms not a dummy she is blind due to a recent accident! I gave her the incorrect information! I am ony 12 so I am sorry that you think Im dumb. My teachers think the same thing, the call me dummy all the time :(

That's why the Board of education says you need a k-8 megaschool, so you won't be a dummy any more. Actually the chances are good that it won't make you smarter than if you stay at your small school, but they don't care about you, they just want shiny new schools to show off. I hope your mom gets better.

Another person who wants Bristol to continue to live in the Dark Ages and not move ahead into the 21st century. If people were really upset about the schools, the citizens wouldn't have voted the BOE incumbents in. I don't believe people went with the familiar. I believe they weren't impressed with what the other people had to offer or they didn't feel they would take the city in the direction they felt it should go.
