Reports from the polls today

Been out to vote yet? What's it like at the polls? New voting machines easy to use?
The registrar's office said at 8:30 a.m. that everything's been going smoothly. No significant hitches yet, I was told.
It's rainy and cool this morning, but the rain is supposed to taper off by noon or so, leaving us with clouds and temperatures in the 40s until sundown, which comes awfully early now.
So it's not a great autumn day by any means. But at least it's not snowing or storming.
If you're looking for information about who to vote for, scroll down a few posts to the one about catching up on the candidates.
Should you need a ride to the polls, you can phone Democratic mayoral candidate Art Ward's headquarters at 583-1181 or 583-1182. The Republicans are offering rides as well. Call them at 806-0609.

Johnson's email to the president of the organization says it - "...I'm sorry for my delay in responding."

Remember, he said that he was too busy to respond to the organizations inquiry because he was running for political office.
