With the advent of a new administration, the seating chart at City Council has been shuffled.
Mayor Art Ward is in the middle seat, as mayors always are. But here's the lineup of councilors as they look from the audience, going left to right: Kevin McCauley, Ken Cockayne, Frank Nicastro, Ward, Mike Rimcoski, Cliff Block, and Craig Minor.
So Nicastro is Ward's right hand man. Rimcoski holds down Ward's left flank.

So Art Ward has banished Zoppo friends Minor and McCauley as far away from him as possible? Yep, the Democrats sure are united moving for-ward.
This is a seating arrangement, not a statement of who is or is not important.
Sorry, Moccabee, but we know it's you sending these feeble attempts to divide the Democrats. Won't work.
Perhaps these 2 councilmen have terrible BO? Smart move by Ward, making progress already!
The Democrats are already divided because of Art Ward's dirty campaign tactics. It has nothing to do with Mocabee, who isn't skilled enough to do it even if he tried.
Talk about micro-managing.
For years it has been by district, but apparently Artie has to pull ALL the strings.
Mocabee doesn't need to have a feeble attempt to divide the democrats..they did it on their own.
Who cares who sits where? They all have the same vote.
Could it POSSIBLY be nothing more than the maintenance worker at City Hall placed them where the Mayor and Council found them?Amazes me that this is an issue at all.
FEEBLE MINDS FUEL FUTILE FEARS
Could it be the mayor wisely chose to place each of the two newbies in between "experienced" councilors? Nah....he's not that smart. I like Tim's thoughts...odd how human nature allows us to all jump to silly conclusions over perfectly innocent actions.
Conspiracy theorists unite! Good lord, if it's that bloody important that knowing the answer will somehow solve world hunger then just ask the mayor point blank if it was he that arranged the seating or was it just happen stance. Not that it matters.
Then can we get on to issues that really matter? Let's see - The Mall, The schools, Route 72, etc, etc.
Who cares where they sit, lets just get this city on the move!
Its been sitting still for the last two years.
