By noon, more than 32 percent of the city's voters had already turned out, election officials said.
And that doesn't count those who voted at the American Legion, where a scanning machine is down and the tally of those who have voted is not yet available.
If people there voted at the same rate as the rest of the city, the total turnout was probably over 36 percent by noontime. It might have even reached 37 percent.
The polls close at 8 p.m.
