Socialist candidate comes at Larson from the left

A Hartford art teacher, Chris Hutchinson, is taking on U.S. Rep. John Larson, too. He's with the Socialist Action Party. You can check out his website here.

Wow, talk about a guy bringing both the Democrats and Republicans together; this guy is a loon we can all disagree with.

In his introduction paragraph it uses all politacally correct jargon except for the word queer. If a D or an R said that there would be an uproar. Nice agenda. These are the people we that are sucking our tax money to teach our children these values.

...because both parties disagree with a government actually by the people and for the people.

Queer isn't necessarily a non-PC word. A lot of non-hetrosexual people don't like the label of 'LGBTQQI' and instead choose to call themselves "queer" in the spirit of reclaiming the word as a positive thing.

And a lot brings the Democrats and Republicans together. For example: militarizing the boarder to keep out Latino workers; trampling queer rights; taking away a woman's right to choose; raising tuition in CT college; funding the war budget... etc. Of course they'd come together to oppose a candidate who opposes all of this!

I'm glad that people trust a system where your votes are overseen by the electoral college. It's like insurance for the voting impaired. The people who put in the work are the people that will prevail. Your butlers won't defend you when they are defending their own respect, decency and wages.

Hutchinson looks like the best candidate in the field! Both of the two ruling parties drove this country into a ditch. Now it's up to working class people to fix the situation.

"We are active in the labor, anti-war, human rights, student, women’s, Black and Chicano liberation, queer and all other social movements that challenge the injustices of capitalism and organize people to stand up and fight in their own interests"

--Take out the somewhat non-PC use of the term "queer", it sounds like the platform of most Democrats.

It's about time that we get a candidate that stands for an alternative. This campaign is for all of us, to voice our concerns and actually be heard!
We need someone that is truly against these wars abroad, but its for money and education for our failing school systems.
I vote Chris Hutchinson for Congress!

Except for the fact that the Democrats are /not/ active in any social movements. Rather they leech off of the movements and corrupt the leaders of the movements with promises of "access." The truth is that both parties, the Republicrats, are part of the problem and not part of the solution. They are the enemies of working people everywhere. The real solution lies in the self-liberation of workers and oppressed people and their breaking with the politics of the two party partners in crime.

You're not "catching my drift".

Both your stupid little stinking party and the Democrats are both good for nothing rotten socialist dogs as far as I'm concerned.

The Democrats ran for election letting people think they'd be different that George W. Bush. Now we have Obama pushing a costlier war budget than anything Bush could get away with.

I'm glad to see a socialist alternative in the voting booth. The two main parties are owned and controlled by the rich corporations. we need a party for the rest of us.

so·cial·ism
   /ˈsoʊʃəˌlɪzəm/ Show Spelled[soh-shuh-liz-uhm] Show IPA
–noun
1.
a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

Anybody who classifies Obama as a "Socialist" needs to get their dictionary out and learn something. It's all you ignorant and uneducated people that are helping drive this country into the ground.

The post above said it best: "The two main parties are owned and controlled by the rich corporations. we need a party for the rest of us."

Keep in mind, the people that Mr. Hutchinson is appealing to are the MAJORITY in this respect. Enough is enough and the workers now have a voice!

Anyone that DOESN'T think Obama is a socialist needs to have someone explain to them what the dictionary says .

Stop by any of the obama motors dealerships or one of the thousands of banks he took over .
