Fitzgerald to run against Wright

More tomorrow, but Republican Jill Fitzgerald said this evening she plans to seek a rematch for the 77th state House seat that state Rep. Chris Wright, a Bristol Democrat, has held since 2008.
Fitzgerald put up a good fight last time. This time, she said, the GOP has the momentum, with good issues and solid candidates.
"The moment is now," she said.  CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY

This is a great choice. Bristol is not on the "Wright" path, and needs to get on the "right" path, and Jill Fitzgerald is that person to do it. It's time we have a small business person represent us again. Chris Wright is out of touch with the small business owners in our District.

Jill has been here in the community serving in many different capacities. She serves on the Bristol Eastern PABC as treasurer; Bristol Theater Arts as treasurer; she is on a board for the Chamber of Commerce; she donated her time to do tax returns for the poor in our community. I assure you, she is always there doing serving. Maybe not in the limelight getting fanfare, but to me that is what I like about Jill - she's real and she cares.

This is awsome news! I'm thrilled that she has decided to run against Wright. His track record should make it easy for her!

If it's "not Jill that wins", was it her that lost last time? If you post something cryptic like this, please elaborate. It's like poetry - just enough to almost make sense. You the poster must be a seasoned politician to be that vague. LOL Jill's a great choice to serve and represent our district.

Does a tree make a sound if it falls in the woods?

It is great that she has done these things, but she has to shift and realize political reality if she hopes to win.

Unfortunately, her situation is typical of the republican thought process, which generally leads to failure.

We, the electorate, need to elect individuals who are serving for the right reasons not politicans who are always in your face to get the name recognition. Let's get the word out to everyone we know. Stop voting by party or name recognition and take the time to really consider our choices. Shallow elected officials have allowed us to come to financial chaos by making decisions with the purpose of getting elected.

Is Chris Wright ready to reduce the size of the CT government? I know Jill is ready! And CT tax payers want to hear that someone is ready to make those tough decisions.

With the Republicans ready to take control - I wonder if they can get rid of the State Income tax? Man that would be great!

8:03 First we realize that you are nothing but a republican hack! Second what has all that stuff to do with being a good rep? Blah, Blah, Blah. And you are good for what?

I've never been called a Republican hack and frankly don't even know 1 what you mean by that and 2 what provoked that type of moronic response? I answered questions from a previous blogger and stated facts. Some of you have such a hard time with facts and truth.

Let me make it easier for you to understand - kind of like Dick and Jane, you being Dick.

See Jill work and serve in this community - even when you don't see her in the headlines.
See Jill run small business and actually be connected with this community
See Jill care about issues that matter to working families
See Connecticut go for real change
See Jill run
See Jill win.

Is that simple enough Dick?

Go, Jill! Less government and less taxation! We need patriots!

What small business does Jill RUN?

What has Jill said about ANY issues, small or large?
