Some thoughts on the chief operating officer

One of the problems with this issue is that it's so big, complicated and messy that explaining it is almost impossible.
Of course, I'll try to do it justice in a news story soon -- very soon!
But I also created a web page that has the text of the proposed changes to the city charter with links to some of the provisions that raise questions, some of which might have answers that I don't know.
I'll keep adding my thoughts and questions (including questions that others have raised) until Tuesday. Feel free to comment on it just as you do here.
Here's the link. I'll try to pretty it up, too, so that the links on the tex are easier to notice.

Does anyone actually ever roll on the floor laughing their ass off? It's kind of a weird shorthand given that it refers to something nobody does.
But I am glad to have brought a smile into your day.

Hope you do it before the 4th and also address the unanswered questions.

Steve, it would be nice to know just how much money has been spent, and where it came from, in pushing this COO idea.

Also, I thought city officials couldn't comment.

How about Ward, Cockayne, Minor, Schaffrick???

WHY CAN'T CITY OFFICIALS TALK - AREN'T THEY CITIZENS TOO? THE YES PEOPLE HOPE THAT THE CITY OFFICIALS DON'T SPEAK BECAUSE MOST OF THEM ARE VOTE NO COO PEOPLE.
VOTE NO COO.

notice that no one has answered the questions that have been asked like how much money these yes people have spent? the end is near and these phonies will be exposed.

That was the reason that the city (attorneys)gave as to why they did not provide answers to the questions tjhat Stortz asked.

I thought Collins covered that in his blog, or somewhere.

Steve??

Why haven't the proponents of thos farce given answers to the public, they are the ones who are trying to get us to believe that a change in government is good for the city.
They aren't talking because they have nothing to document any benefit to the city or the taxpayers - they are actual examples of exactly what they are saying but the difference is that their silence is deafening.
