Larson coming to Bristol Monday to try to give people money

LARSON TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE TO HELP RESIDENTS OBTAIN UNCLAIMED STIMULUS CHECKS
Hartford, CT – U.S Congressman John B. Larson will hold a press conference in Bristol to announce that over 13,000 residents in the first congressional district have not claimed their economic stimulus checks. 
The press conference will take place on October 6th at 10am in the Bristol City Council Chambers. Larson will be joined by Mayor Art Ward of Bristol, and a representative from the IRS. 
The IRS estimates that around 55,000 Connecticut retirees and veterans’ beneficiaries have not yet filed to claim their stimulus payment. The deadline to file in order to receive a payment this year is October 15. 
Larson will provide detailed town by town numbers of potential filers within the first congressional district. A representative from the IRS will speak about upcoming information and free tax preparation sessions for individuals who qualify for an economic stimulus payment, and in addition will provide directions on how to file to receive a stimulus check. At the conclusion of the presentations, Larson will take questions from the press.

Now I see why Ward wants a COO: he needs someone to run the city while he cavorts about on PR activity.

7:15am - you must be a COO supporter trying to get all of the support that you can by wanting people, untruthfully,to believe that ward wants a coo - that is devious and misleading. Either let the coo issue stand on it's own TRUTHFUL merits, or lack of any merits,or give it up.
the latter is preferable.

Gee 7:15, imagine that....Ward meeting with Larson to try to get money for some of Bristol's citizens....tsk, tsk, how dare he cavort about so carelessly! He acts like he's the mayor or something!....oops, wait a minute....
