Sarah Palin coming to New England on Wednesday

Though Connecticut's too blue to attract any candidates at all, New Hampshire's not firmly in the Democratic tally so it remains in play.
Hoping to nudge it toward Republican presidential hopeful John McCain, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is going to speak Wednesday at a rally in Salem, N.H.
The Republican town chair in Enfield, Mary Ann R. Turner, is rounding up GOP loyalists to ride a bus to the rally and make some calls for McCain along the way.
The free rally for Palin marks her second appearance in New England.
If you're interested in going, contract Turner at this email address: maryannturner@cox.net. The bus will leave Hartford about 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

I'd love to attend this event so I could worship this goddess of American politics.

I love you Sarah Palin.

Cheerleading will not work. It's too late in the game to make much of a difference.

Another losing bet on the repugnant republicants side. It's now getting laughable!

McDolt and his new speech will do nothing to improve his chances of becoming President of the United States. Nada, zip, zippo. ;o)

His overall approach is old hat and his ideas unclear. He says he has a plan to do this, that and the other thing. But he's lacking specificity.

His honor and integrity is gone. His favorability ratings are in the toilet. His running mate is dragging him down. His campaign is doomed.

Vote OBAMA/BIDEN on November 4...real leaders with specific ideas to improve America!

Enough is enough! Change is coming!

I have to work, but would love to be in Salem that day. Hearing Palin speak is one of the most refreshing experiences. Hopefully the Democrats' newly found female phobia will not keep her out of Washington. We would be so blessed to have her as VP.

McCain/Palin 2008!

Is that a picture of Gov. Palin or SNL's Tina Fay?

A message from ATHENA...

This world of chaos needs wisdom now.

OBAMA/BIDEN are honorable and wise.

Their enemies disgrace themselves.

Beware!

MCCAIN/PALIN will lead to ruin and despair.

Mysterious Athena:

Your false idols are guilty of plagiarism and associating with racists, terrorists, America-haters, and ACORN saboteurs of our voting system. The smoke is being lifted from the eyes of the voters. Your idols would not get us to the promised land; instead there would be great wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Only the strong John McCain and the beautiful Sarah Palin can get us to the place we want to be. Proud of our homeland, free, and going forward bravely into a sun-filled future with moosemeat and oil for all...

McCain/Palin!

Athena sweetheart,

I know it's getting to be halloween and all, but the idea of Obama becoming president is absolutely terrifying enough!

To October 13, 2008 8:00 PM,

I see my Celtic Goddess friend, Brighid, has entered your life. She loves poetry and sees it as a gift to heal and inspire others.

Sadly, your verse is void of goodness. It is dark and full of hatred. To knowingly inspire hatred is evil.

You have much to learn. Will you begin today?

And to October 13, 2008 8:06 PM,

Your disrespect will be your downfall.

These are serious days, use humor wisely.

The question is more accurately posed this way...

Is that a picture of Gov. Palin or Cruella DeVille?

All the innocent wolves still left in Alaska are happy she's out playing with Grampa McSenile rather than aiming to kill one of them.

Think of Alaska as a metaphor for her character, mostly cold and dark. She's the scary one!

Vote OBAMA/BIDEN on November 4!

11:20 is obviously confused. The anti-American radical, his racist wife and the lying plagiarist are a whole heck of a lot scarier than the wolf hunter...She's just a threat to wolves. The others are a threat to our entire country.

Vote McCain/Palin - keeping the wolves away from our doorstep. You betcha!

Everyone is quite aware of the impact of the early childhood on the future developement of a person .

As a child mr. obama was in Indonesia attending muslim schools .

As an adult mr. obama spent 20+ years being schooled by Rev. Wright.

Mr. obama recently toured Europe holding several anti-America venues .

It is no secret which way mr. obama leans .

Vote for America .... McCain /Palin

Destructive lies, October 14, 2008 4:41 PM!!! It's an untrue eRumor, and you shouldn't be spreading false rumors. Didn't your mother ever tell you that?

Go to: www.fightthesmears.com for more accurate and truthful information about Barack Obama.

"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction" is a corruption of a quote from Obama's book The Audacity of Hope. It is from a section that talks about the concerns of immigrants who are American citizens.

Here is the accurate and more complete quote:
"Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Why do you insist on going down this path of lies and misinformation? The American people will not fall for this crap for a third time! Eight is enough~Time for change.

Vote OBAMA/BIDEN on November 4!

"Destructive lies" ???

I'm merely quoting the man. Obama says 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.' Whatever his reason for doing so, he's obviously chosen the Muslims over the U.S.. These are not the words of an American patriot.

MCCAIN/PALIN - Real Americans!

Anonymous said...

You are absolutely right, 7:45 AM! These are not the words of an American Patriot.

They are YOUR words, not Senator Obama's. Therefore, they are the words of an American Idiot!

Read the October 14, 2008 7:50 PM comments.

The next President of the United States of America will be Barack Hussein Obama. Accept it!

PEACE my Bruthah! :o)

Anonymous said...

What part of the word "quote" do you not understand 8:16? Those are Obama's words, not mine.

Anonymous said...

Who cares ???

Anonymous said...

9:46 - Gee, I think EVERYONE should. It's kind of an important issue, don't ya think?

Anonymous said...

You should care more about the TRUTH, October 15, 2008 10:03 AM!

The misquote you are referencing maligns the great and capable Barack Hussein Obama!

You are a bad, bad, bad person. You will have to account for your irresponsible actions one day! In the meantime, if you can't be honest with yourself, you should at least try to be honest with others.

Shame on you and your wicked ways!

Anonymous said...

The quote speaks for itself, and I'm obviously not the one with the honesty issues.

Anonymous said...

@ October 15, 2008 12:10 PM

Don't you mean the MISQUOTE speaks for itself? And consequently, doesn't the MISQUOTE also reveal a great deal about you and your wicked ways? Think about it cretin.

“Every act of dishonesty has at least two victims: the one we think of as the victim (in this case, Senator Obama), and the perpetrator as well (that would be any repugnant republicant spreading lies). Each little dishonesty makes another little rotten spot somewhere in the perpetrator's psyche.”

Is it just me, or do a lot of Obama's followers seem to be a little...er, off kilter? I guess that would explain a lot! ;0)

Anonymous said...

@ October 15, 2008 3:08 PM

No, it's just you. ;o)

Anonymous said...

Off-kilter is a polite way of putting it. Some of them make absolutely no sense at all...

Change? Yeah, would you like to be Muslim in a socialist country? There's some change for you.

Eight years is enough? Maybe, but, HELLO, Bush isn't running. McCain is hardly Bush. Nor is Palin anything like Cheney. So stop trying to pretend that they are Bush/Cheney clones. Are you blind?

McCain/Palin, you betcha!

Anonymous said...

McCain is Bush sorry !

Anonymous said...

McCain is Bush? Physically, impossible. Policy-wise, not the same. Closer to Bush than to Obama's tax-America-to-death plan? You betcha!

Anonymous said...

Sorry I forgot the wink , wink. That's all it takes to get your support ! ;o)

Anonymous said...

No, some one who was a mayor, who is now a governor with an 80% approval rating in her state, who has taken on corruption and won, who values family, hard work, and the right to bear arms, who knows what to do about energy AND the environment...that person gets my support. And if she winks, all the better!

Anonymous said...

And she wears $2,500.00 blazers and spent 150,000 dollars on a wardrobe then says she's a soccer mom. I don't know any of those poor excuse me "hockey" moms. I'll bet our soccer moms had all that money to spend.Oh yeah ! Go rich republicans !! What a joke !!!

Anonymous said...

Sarah Palin is an experienced, accomplished, honest candidate who will make a great Vice President. She only has the clothes because people expect her to have them. The campaign committee decided to spend the money instead of buying more bumperstickers. Big deal.
