Works to level playing field for state’s subcontractors Bristol - At a meeting at the Hawthorne Inn in Berlin on Tuesday night, the Connecticut Subcontractors Association recognized state Senator Thomas A. Colapietro (D-Bristol) with a certificate of appreciation for his many years for support for the state’s subcontractors. “I’m proud of the work I’ve been able to do in support of Connecticut’s subcontractors, and I appreciate their recognition and help,” said Senator Colapietro. “Subcontractors have a valuable role in our construction industry and deserve our support.” “Senator Colapietro is a close ally of the subcontractors of Connecticut,” said Bill Flynn, president of the Connecticut Subcontractors Association. “We appreciate his longstanding support for our industry and for his understanding of the difficulties that subcontractors face every day.”
