Tall grass

City officials are trying to find a way to combat the problem of property owners who don't keep their grass cut, though it's not a problem this time of year.
When the Ordinance Committee chatted about it recently, city Councilor Mike Rimcoski asked his colleagues, "Did you know that bamboo is classified as grass?"
"And marijuana is not," responded city Councilor Craig Minor. "Go figure."

Combat tall grass ?????

Are you freaking kidding me ???

Don't these idiots have anything better to do ????

Might I suggest a re-evaluation of their views on drug use .... if they ARE using drugs .... STOP !! --- if they are NOT using drugs .... START !!!!

Many towns have ordinances on maintaining properties, particularly grass. It seems like a small issue, but it is another one that can force absentee landlords to keep up their properties.

Time to move out of Bristol.

why dont our city leaders address real quality of life issues in this city, like the recent crime wave, or the rampant drug use/abuse problems?

instead we get leaders worried about shopping carts and lawn mowing. what a pile of crap.

wow, see what they mean? you recognized a piece of crap and it should be recognized and addressed - thank you for providing such a most poignant example of "why" we should continue to seek resolution to these issues - u da best!

Why waste money on revitalizing Main St. You did it to North Main St, and it did not improve at all. You made it pedestredian friendly for the drunks and robbers in town. Know one feels save walking up North Main St. It has not brought any more nice stores to town, and it will be the same for Main St. You need to step up the police patrol in town.
