nope
Why isn't the Bristol Press sending one of you to cover this?
Reporter Jackie Majerus is on the scene in Hartford now. I drew the short straw and have to cover the school siting committee tonight instead (along with some other stuff!).
And there are Bristol people there, in case anyone is wondering.
Steve, I would say that Jackie drew the short straw. Everyone knows what Hilary will say, but no one knows which school site will be selected.
No I have a root canal - which I rather have then see her.
Go the hartford to see Billy Jeffs' wife ????
No thanks .... I think i'll make an appointment for a root canal .... w/o novicaine .
That would be less painful . ;-)
As a root canal expert now -- to my chagrin -- I can say without a doubt that seeing a presidential candidate is far better.
While Hillary is unlikely to say anything new today - they try not to do that, after all - it's fascinating to see all the hoopla associated with a big-time campaign.
As a political junkie, I look back fondly on the times I saw or spoke with Bob Dole, Ted Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Howard Dean, Mo Udall, etc. It's just something out of the ordinary.
I strongly recommend that if you get the chance to see one of the candidates -- from either party -- that you do it.
This story makes an interesting diversion from the sudden , vicious eviction over the weekend by the Bristol Gestapo .
Yet another example of just how wrong things can get w/o proper oversight of a government run amuck . :-(
Have Jackie ask mrs. clinton if the private militias will be coming out to protect american citizens as often if she get into office as they had to when her hubby was in charge ???
