Rosenthal wins reappointment

After a year and a half in limbo, the city's economic development director, Jonathan Rosenthal, was reappointed to his position by a 4-3 vote a few minutes ago.
Mayor Art Ward cast the tiebreaking vote.
Both Republican city councilors and Democrat Kevin McCauley voted against his reappointment.

People are worried about their taxes going up yet we're paying for a guy who doesn't do his job well with an attitude to boot. I would be more concerned with shelling out $94,000 a year for inadequate results. Why do we always have to settle?

I applaud Councilor McCauley for his questioning of Fergusons inept "investigation".
She did very poor job,
But then, isn't her appointment coming up?
All of City Hall knows that she shuns any challenges, any controversy.

By the way, I would be interested in knowing just how much Rosenthal costs us with his benefits.

Bet it almost reaches $140,000.
