Bumper stickers

Bristol Development Authority member Don Cassin, who's been a state commissioner in the past, was showing off a couple of his favorite bumper stickers at City Hall today.
One of them read "DON'T STEAL: The Government Hates Competition."
The other read: "Politicians are like diapers. They both need changing regularly and for the same reason."
When Mayor Art Ward took a look at them, he laughed, then he asked Cassin, "When's your term up?"

Is THIS news or is this just Steve creating discussion on his blog space????

Seems that an awful lot of the postings from Steve on his blog space have been more attempts at making discussion / debate / donfrontation on his blog as opposed to reporting the news and letting the readers discuss the news.

Has this blog space turned into nothing more than a gossip column existing purely for the creation of debate on a blog space?

If I wanted to do a gossip column, whew, I could have a blast. I'll have to think about that. ;)

It's Steve's blog - he can put whatever he wants on it. No one said it all had to be news.

I think it's refreshing to have some humor thrown in.

Yeah, it's my blog and I'll laugh if I want to.

I find it refreshing to see someone ( mr. cassin ) from the inner workings finally admit ( via the stickers ) what many in the public sector have long suspected .

Apparently mr. ward does not agree w/ me .

Steve,
Most of these newbie losers don't even know who Don is.

Cassin was schooled by the best. Good bumper sticker Don, that's my kind of Democrat.

I loook upon Wards repartee in the same manner I looked on Ellen's "look in the mirror" remark to Stortz.
I don't remember Stortz getting upset, and apparently Cassin didn't.
Unfortunately, Ellen was demonized for her comment, and so far Ward has gotten no nastiness.

Lets put them both in perspective and move on.
