Photos from the crash scene

Here are some of the police photographs taken at the scene of the June 26 crash on Riverside Avenue when former Officer Robert Mosback veered off the road and into a utility pole. They were released today by the city in response to one of my many Freedom of Information Act requests in recent days:

funny....drivers area not touched but they had to rush him to Hartford! Could it have been to sober him up? Why not go to Danbury Hospital?

I think I'll go watch some paint dry.

Courant has even more photo's..

Even though drivers area isn't touched, it still looks like a hell of an impact..

So what? I think we've all seen smashed cars before.

LETS get real photos of BRISTOL POLICE AT WORK. Like the CHIEFS ACTIVITY WHILE ON DUTY. Cruisers parked in dunkin donuts for hours at a time. DRUG DEALS GOING DOWN AT THE WEST END while cops are bull shitting. THIS IS THE REAL PROBLEM IN BRISTOL.

MAYBE THE CHIEF COULD RUN FOR MAYOR AND FINISH SCREWING UP THE CITY LIKE HES DOING TO THE DEPT.

Where's our elected city council people on this? Who are they representing? I'm not interested in waiting for the next Police Board Meeting to hear their comments I want to know that out elected officials are protecting the people who they are supposed to be representing. It just shows how much power the public safety unions have over all of us.

But at least we know McCauley is supposedly keeping the boards free of bad "public decorum" (AKA black-balling people who speak up for better government).

The problems with police dept are real deep. No one will report the real story for fear of retaliation. The union is protecting these guys. Elected officals are afraid to do there job.

WHOS ON THE POLICE BOARD. People who cant make noise. Police will shut there jobs down So dont count on cleaning up the dept.
