Rosenthal will win again. Council not smart enough to figh him. Enough said.

Wish Rosenthal would work as hard at promoting the city as he works at promoting himself.

This story was a joke. Nothing of any substance in it. Just a fluff story for Rosenthal. Why nothing about any accomplishments Rosenthal has done? Most likely because it would have been a very short story. 16 yrs and not much to show for it.....execpt sucking the taxpayer dry for his pay!

Ward has chosen to attach himself to the wrong person. Jonathan will take Ward down with him. Another lazy Union worker!!

Latt mayor wanted him out, Council didn't.

This Council wants him out, mayor doesn't.

Go figure.

right versus wrong said...

if you reviewed the last council meeting, you would have noticed that ward's position was that the council went about it in the wrong way, nothing to do with either support or lack of support for jonathan, and would have been putting the city in jeporady of being sued.
too bad that this council feels that they know it all, could cost us some big bucks down the road.

Ward was a big and vocal supporter of Rosenthal last time when he was up for reappointment.

Why?

Other than politics?

Rosenthal is Ward's buddy, he won't get rid of him. Just like Ward won't get rid of the Emergency manager - who isn't even in CT. Taxpayer money beinng wasted on Ward's buddies.

At the council meeting, Jonathan had the obviously educated, scientist-businessman, industrial park gentlemen speak up on his behalf. Speaking out against Jonathan was Bristol's one and not only, still bitter after all these years, gadfly Ed Dutko. Game over. Jonathan stays. Do we need to even discuss this matter any further.

You cant call what we have a council. There more like a mistake by the voters.

Please bring back evaluations. Give Rosenthal some clear measureable goals. And when he doesn't/won't deliver on those goals - adios!

Too bad that those that have challenged him did not get the support they needed.

In fact, they were the ones that suffered.

Crazy system.

Rosenthal couldn't ask for a better fluff PR piece.

8:10 - too bad that those who went after rosenthal had no idea what they were doing and ran with their tails between their legs when rosenthal called their bluff by going and asking that the thing be held in front of the public. maybe someday it will be done right and for the right reasons but these council smucks ain't gonna be the ones to get it - they are too stupid.

What made McCauley change his mind from a few years back?

Or is he just a slow learner?

bumbling said...

11:00 - anyone who makes mccauley feel important changes his mind on anything - some day he might be able to think on his own - if she lets him.

What's with the "pudgy" comment near the beginning? Unless he's so fat he physcially can't move, I don't see what bearing that has on his performance as economic development coordinator. And the "targeted by some" sentence is really shady. Who are these people? Fox News does this all the time. "Some people say President Obama's a baby-killing socialist." Not cool, man.
