City officials began wading through a list of possible projects for the coming year Wednesday with the hope of stretching limited funds as far as possible.
Though the projects committee won’t finish its work for at least another week, officials agreed on a handful of possible proposals that may make the final cut.
Among them is an overhaul of Casey Field, the creation of a parking lot on the site of the former Mills box factory and the reconstruction of Witches Rock Road. Click here for the story.

We can redo Casey field but we can't repave our roads.
Go figure, (or ask Art).
Can't ask Art he has no idea what is going on.
Stortz wasn't so bad after all.
9:08 PM: Yes, he was.
2:53 PM: You appear to be the one who doesn't have a clue.
2:20 PM: Get over the road thing already. It's only March.
They are going to give all the money to Streifer and the school board.
The big project get rid of the unions. Then make big cuts in school board and public works. Lower taxes.Start firing useless dept heads.
9:08 Stortz was the worst. HHe was so power hungry he forgot his own supports. Then stepped on everyone.

I happen to think that Stortz was a pretty good mayor, and I know I am not alone in thinking that way.
Also, he may not have capitulated those that supported him because they wanted something in return, but he certainly did not forget the real people, the citizen of Bristol.
I wish he was still in office.
7:01 you have to be Stortz. You have no fan club. Maybe its time to buy a dog they always like there master. Thats the only chance you have for love.
Work on the taxes and stop wasting time.
Ruttsville!
Money of a parking lot when we haven't digested the parking lot study?
Money on Casey Field when our roads are shameful.
Can't anyone there play this game?
