GOP invades Bristol

Just about everyone with a prayer of winning the Republican endorsement for governor or U.S. Senate this year made an appearance tonight at Bristol's annual Lincoln Day dinner. Here's the story.
I'll post more about what the candidates had to say over the weekend when I get a chance.

Wow gramps and daddy have pull. This was all just to pay the Barne$es back for all the money they give and will give. It was worth it for all these "candidates" to come here for the $1000 contribution (or more counting all the family) they'll probably get now.

Exciting...NOT! Money doesn't buy everything Junior.

I can tell you have never met Junior as he would agree that money doesn't buy everything. Writing some like that must have made you feel really good!! Have a nice Saturday....

GREAT Job TJ and the local GOP leadership. This had to be one of the best Lincoln Day Dinners in recent memory.

Keep up the good work!

Sour grapes, 11:31. Government in this country is supposed to represent EVERYONE, rich or poor. No candidate, leader or voter deserves criticism for the size of their bank account. Those who serve the rest of us certainly deserve our thanks.

Thank you to all the candidates who have put their names out there to give us a choice. And thank you to those who run events such as this. It is not easy.

BTW, the "GOP invades Bristol" title is a little much, even for the Press.

You obviously can't comprehend what I stated or (most likely) you have no rebuttal. What you stated is not related to my statement which you are trying to rebut.

I can get deeper into the subject if you really want, which would not be very complementary to the people whom you have so much respect for.

You may consider trying again. But I wouldn't if I were you.

Trust Fund TJ never had a job in his life that the family fortune didn't buy him.

hey i have an idea. why dont all of you step up and join one of the partys and actuly work to make a diffrence or better yet try running one, and even beter that that try running for office. you are all arm chair quaterbacks

Nah 8:26 They would rather hide and complain. You know the old say "Some people ain't happy unless their bitchen" This fits them to a t.

TJ and company did a great job on this event. They more than doubled attendance from last year and everybody seemed to have a good time. As for TJ and people who take shots at him for family money. If you really knew TJ you'd know just how grounded he is as a person. He'd be the first person to tell you that money doesn't buy everything. So again nice job TJ those of us you know you appreciate all you do. As for the whiners? They have nothing better to do.
