I forgot to mention yesterday that Democratic U.S. Senate hopeful Merrick Alpert's brother Nevin lives in Bristol. As far as I know, Nevin doesn't go walking along state roads carrying an American flag. It doesn't seem to be a family trait, just something Merrick decided to try.
