Libary seeks comments on Career Center

The library has an interesting post on its blog (!) about all the career materials it has to share. Check out the link --
-- and leave comments for the good folks who are trying to do this right. It's a great thing to see the library embracing technology and searching for public input.

As someone who's been a frequent, and satisfied patron of the library, I must say how impressed I am with how they have stepped up on this issue.

keep up the great work!!!

Sorry, but they didn't "step up". They were pushed and pushed into the computer era, dragging their feet all the way. Francine Petosa is the worst department head in the city. She would have been long gone if not for her brother.

They may have been pushed into the computer era, but now that they'r there, the library is embracing it. Is there another city department on Facebook? I sure don't know of it if there is.

Yup .... they embrace it alright . Like having a guard wandering around looking over everyones' shoulder and monitoring their every move . And when someone mentions they might be a little uncomfortable having a stranger perform such 'embracing' methods they respond by saying " You want privacy ?!?! STAY HOME !!!

sept 3- if that really happened you should complain to the director of the dept/ is a shame that a gaurd has to be on staff to keep the city employees safe- it is great that they are looking ahead- Sept 1 12:22- you sound very bitter and jealous
