Re: Bristol, CT City Treasurer
Please accept this as my formal request to run for the position of Bristol’s City Treasurer. My experience as a registered mutual fund and investment representative qualifies me as a viable candidate. My daily experiences as an income tax specialist further enhance my skills for this position.
Upon hearing that Patti Ewen, our current highly respected City Treasurer, announced that she would not seek re-election, I have given this position careful consideration.
I am asking for your support on endorsement night. [...]

Are you going to be Planning Commission Chairman as well? Please not John Sores!!!!
I forgot to put in the story that Bill Veits said he would like to remain on the Planning Commission if it's allowable. At this point, we don't know if the city treasurer would be able to serve on the board. That's something that city lawyers will have to investigate.
CPA? NOT!
nobody is claiming he's a CPA
He's well beyond a CPA and is highly qualified for the position. I just question his ability to handle the demands of the position knowing how busy his current business is. He isn't easily swayed by request of politicians, doesn't play politics when it comes to finances, and is very good at making the right decisions for the financial wellbeing of the City. He's a good person to keep Klocko on his toes. He's more qualified than Patty was, and she did a good job.
