I'm told that the new Courant -- a slimmed-down, spruced-up version of the old Courant -- will be unveiled on Sunday, Sept. 28.
What can Bristol expect?
"Two or three stories a week" about the Mum City.
It's going to get ever harder to know what's going on in Bristol as newspaper cutbacks keep coming and coming.

Any plans for the Bristol Press?
I don't know of any significant changes in the works. But I'd be among the last to know.
Will they change to the "MONKEYBOY FOUND ON MAIN ST." tabloid format, like the Press? I hope not.
Wait a minute... they found a MONKEYBOY on Main Street? Hold the presses!
Monkeyboy found on NORTH MAIN STREET (that is where city hall is)
But what would we do with out knowing about Art Ward's next great deed courtesy of Steve "I'm a Groupie" Collins?
Don't worry. When Art Ward does something great, I'll let you know.
Steve, if and when Ward does something, he will let all of us know!
You always do Steve. The nausea I felt at those times caused me to stop buying the Bristol Press.
cutbacks like the bristol press building being for sale???? Now that is a headline............
We've heard for many years that the Press building was for sale. Several times, I've been assured by various officials that the building had been sold. But there it is, still standing at 99 Main Street with a Bristol Press sign out front.
There are so many rumors that I wouldn't dare even hazard a guess about what will happen to the Press.
I'm just glad I have millions of dollars socked away in an emergency ... oh, wait, I don't. Too bad.
What I do know is cvs was looking at the property but decided on the n main rt6 location.... PS its a ghost town in the BP building....
