Press release from state House candidate Chris Wright, hot off the presses this time (wow, that's an archaic cliche...):
Chris Wright, the Democratic candidate for state representative in the 77th Assembly District, today named Bristol resident Laura Bartok as his campaign manager.
Bartok attended Bristol schools, earned a Bachelors in Social Work from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Masters of Social Work from the UCONN School of Social Work.
“I am excited to have Laura on our team,” Wright said. “She knows Bristol and the people who live here and has been active in politics and dealing with issues that matter.”
Bartok is active with the Connecticut Young Democrats, has worked on Chris Murphy’s congressional campaign and on several legislative campaigns. In addition, she was the Assistant Clerk of the General Assembly’s Commerce Committee this year.
“I believe that Chris is a great candidate who will represent the best interests of residents in the 77th District,” Bartok said. “He knows the issues that are important to people and during this campaign I know his message will resonate with voters.”
