Henry Raymond, the campaign manager for Bob Merrick, told me he's a Red Sox fan. He said he once had an autographed yearbook from Johnny Damon. He got rid of it when Damon signed on with the Evil Empire.
After 5 innings, the score remains 4-0. Beckett has mowed down 15 batters in a row and has a 1-hitter going. Cy Young winner indeed.
