Welch calls for spending, tax cuts to spur job growth

A jobs plan offered by Democrats this week isn’t enough to lure businesses to Connecticut and put money in the pockets of its residents, Republican state Senate hopeful Jason Welch said Thursday.
Welch said a plan state Sen. Tom Colapietro touted “is kind of a Band-Aid when what we need is an organ transplant.”
Welch, a 37-year-old lawyer from Bristol, is aiming to knock Colapietro from the 31st District seat a Bristol Democrat has held since 1992. See the rest of the story by clicking here.

Not that this attorney can't think for himself, but if GOP State Central controlled him it's still better than Tommie-toupe' who's a UNION PAWN.

Does Welch have a feel for, a clue of, Brisol?

Where does the Republicans find these candiates?

The problem with Welch is the problem with all Republicans. They say they want to cut spending, but they never say where. Welch at least comes within striking distance when he says the State needs to "reduce the duplicity [does he mean "duplication"? LOL] of other functions", but exactly where? Rowland and Rell have already done this and combined many departments and commissions that used to be independent. Please show more depth, Mr. Welch. Exactly what services are being duplicated?

Go Jason...we need change in Hartford NOW...your opponent is a major cause of the over inflated union payroll. You obviously have the topee troops all turned up...ignore those hacks and focus on what you will do to reduce spending, create jobs and save homeowners who deserve a helping hand from the the tax and spend democrates like calalpeto who sucked their tax dollars from their budgets.
