Press editorial: Do the busway

The Press has an editorial today detailing the argument for moving forward with the busway. Please be aware that I have exactly nothing to do with what stances my paper takes on its editorial page.

Why is someones opinion on the front page of a "news" paper???

And you pointy heads wonder why your business is dieing!

The Editor of the Bristol Press is a champion of the welfare class, even if it is to the detriment of the future of Bristol. What would one expect albeit it's disgraceful?

What is the opinion of our illustrious State Senator on this? Who voted to approve the appropriation for this? Was this project part of the Democrat state budget that was rammed down the tax-payers throats last year?

The driving forces for the busway have been regional planners, Gov. Rell, Gov. Rowland, Mayor Stewart and the federal government.
Local politicians, even Senator Colapietro, have favored rail.

Well it's time for them to step up then! It's one thing to say you're for or against something, it's another thing to do something. Does our Senator know what to do?

Unfortunately most of the time it's the Democrat state leaders that call the shots not the constituents. What's the state Democrat Party's position on this issue? Will Senator buck the leadership? More importantly what are the trade union's position?

Is this in the state budget your heros championed?

"Positively Right": this project was approved by the legislature many years ago, during the Rowland administration. Incompetence and turf-protection by DOT has been holding it back.

Another great job by tom the senator collecting a big check working for himself and his union friends.

Yes, let's just all blame Rowland and Rell and move along....

Give me a break Odin. Your Dim-o-crat Party has been in control of the Appropriations Committee and the State House for decades.

Again where is Tommie's action on having no public transit to Bristol? Where does he get his marching orders (I wonder)?

Is this also the result of Bristol getting this baffling Route 72 "solution"...now New Britski get's it's share? Too late for a refund Mike Nicastro. Too bad your predecessor cared more about himself than Bristol.

Keep fighting this.

Keep fighting the school on the Plymouth town line too.

Hey positively right why don't you grow up and talk about the issues? You are so biased I want to puke. His position was clear and obviously you don't even care about any one elses. You, you jerk don't even know the difference from federal funds and state funds . Like I always say you jerks are useless to the community and don't even look past your teeny little biased brain. Good for nothing as usual.
