Larson says he's not afraid of Pelosi

Interesting article in The Hill today about U.S. Rep. John Larson, the East Hartford Democrat whose district includes Bristol. It seems Larson is saying that he'll take on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi if that's what it takes to fight for his Democratic Caucus colleagues.
It's perhaps another indication of a point that Chris Powell made a little while back -- that Larson could be the next speaker of the House, a position that would allow him to do an awful lot for his beleaguered district back home in Connecticut.

I've never been a fan of John Larson, but if he becomes House Speaker, it would be fantastic.

Good luck Congressman. I support your effort on this 100%.

I am a lifelong democrat(and proud of it for all those who will most certainly take a "shot" ANONYMOUSLY)but I have to say Pelosi scares the living bejeebers out of me.She has completely lost "touch" with ground level America.Having Congressman Larson as Speaker would benefit our District greatly!
