The gall of Chris Healey knows no bounds. He brings up Larson supposedly having too much wine at a restaurant shortly after 9/11. This from a guy who has had 3 DWI convictions and should have done jail time after the third but lucky for him one was an out of state conviction. This guy makes Karl Rove look like Ghandi.

But Healy's not our Congressman.

John Larson was boozing it up in a Foggy Bottom (DC) bar the day the Pentagon and the WTC were destroyed. What a disgrace!

John Larson is a glad-handing panderer. He is in the pocket of every liberal special interest group that's turning America into a cesspool.

Now Larson's against drilling for more oil. Wake up Bristol! What are you heating your houses with? Ready to convert to solar soon? Ready to trade in your pick-up's for those queer Priuses?

Larson is for cutting and running in Iraq. Whether or not the Iraq plan was a good one or not, the most reck-less and senseless thing we could do is pull out.

Larson should be driven from office this year!

if the gop has no viable candidate, open game on the incumbent - probably the reason that the incubent is the incumbent and will remain the incumbent is that the incumbent is the incumbent. Put up or shutup.

8:54 - Where to begin? There's just so much flat out wrong with your assertions.

We can't drill our way out of our current oil problems. Any new drilling will take at least 5 years to come on line. The oil companies already hold leases in 70% of viable off-shore areas but they are not drilling on most of them. Why do they want more, so they can let them sit idle too? Even the once GOP - revered Governator Arnold opposes off-shore drilling. Its a red herring to disguise the utter failure of the GOP controlled Congress of the last 10 years to come up with a rational energy, conservation or fuel efficiency policy. All the fat-cats were buying their Hummers and refusing to require Detroit to be more fuel efficient. But that's ok, all that Iraqi oil we would get after dumping Saddam Hussein would solve the problem and pay for the war too! Guess that didn't quite work out.

Nice to see old "cut and run" making a come back. Nobody says we should just remove every U.S. soldier tomorrow. Bush's idiotic policies have made that impossible. We've now made the Iranians the major player in the region so obviously we can't create a vacuum they will surely fill. But we can start bringing our troops home while working with our supposed Arab allies (I'm looking at you Saudi Arabia) to ensure against Iranian domination. They should at least be paying for the reconstruction of Iraq as well as helping to finance its security. After all, Iran is a danger to them too. Or we could just follow the McBush tactic of staying there for the next 100 years. Yeah, that would be great.

Oh, one last thing - I can't believe a three time DRUNK DRIVER has the nerve to criticize someone for legally drinking in a restaurant! And by the way, Healy says it happened a "few" days after 9/11, not on the actual day.

Healey is pretty good on the harp. I think a couple of campaign stops that include a Visconti/Healey jam session are in order.

Hmmmm ..... I see the usual hit squad is attacking anyone with common sense again ....

I was hoping that sort of trash talk would end when the clintons finally got booted .

You're so dumb you can't figure out what time or who you're responding to. You certainly then can't figure out that repairing your silly little Prius costs more than my American made Cavalier by A LOT, SUCKER...and TRAITOR!

You make a digusting comment about someone's dad and then you have the gall to call that person a red-neck?

You are so classless, small-minded, and ignorant it's pathetic. Or maybe you're just "queer as folk"?

A drunk has common sense? And what are you drinking?

Lets move on to something else.

Stop "spinning" lies!

Obama has no policy for Iraq except to state time and time again that it was a bad idea to go there. A pull-out is the only option besides securing the country and evidently Obama is ready to pull out.

And stop with the "3rd Bush administration" hyperbole. Everyone knows that McCain is his own man. Perhaps one similarity with Bush is that McCain will NOT appoint left-wing, progressive, activist judges to the Supreme Court that will take away our individual rights such as stated in the 2nd Ammendment.

Another similarity to Bush is that McCain will try to eleviate our energy crisis by seeking new oil resouces and persuing nuclear power unlike Obama who will bow to radical liberal anti-capitalist special interest groups like the Sierra Club (to name one).

An example of where McCain trumps both Obama and Bush is his experience in the military and in leadership. At least Bush was a chief executive of a state. Obama had led nothing but some local neighborhood "organizing". His resume is a joke, as is his candidacy in reality. McCain led the largest fighter squadron in the Navy. He is a war hero and is well qualified to lead us in this difficult time. Obama's winning qualification is his skin color, otherwise we'd never even heard of him.

10:34- Its really no use arguing with these people/ We are all aware of what some of the people in CT's answer to West Virginia want for a foreign policy. Taht is simply if they aren't a white christian they're no good. Also don't forget the rallying cry. Make Nascar year long and bring back HeeHaw.

7/3/08 8:28 AM - Despite your warning, I'm going to try to engage our friend from 6:49 on the issue of McCain's military experience and judgment. First off, I'll grant you the obvious - McCain is a war hero and Obama has never served in the military. But digging a bit deeper into McCain's military record brings out some questions about his judgment and temperment. He is the son of an admiral and admits himself that at Annapolis he was a know it all, wise-ass punk. Despite being at the bottom of his class, he got a fighter pilot assignment, a job that ususally goes to the elite of the Naval academy. Its speculated that being the son of an admiral certainly didn't hurt in achieving this feat. After returning from Vietnam he insisted in continuing to fly even though Navy doctors wanted to ground him due to his injuries as a POW. It was only after he crashed on returning to the air that he was grounded.

Wesley Clark put it rather awkwardly in a Sunday talk show but he was trying to point out that John's military experiences don't necessarily translate into the qualities needed in a President and Commander in Chief. Of course Clark was immediately accused of questioning McCain's patriotism by the GOP "truth" squad.

Which was correct of the "GOP truth squad". And you are the left-wing liar hyperbole squad I assume?

All your points still don't change the fact that McCain has tremendous military experience. He is smart, well educated (try getting through West Point Mr. Liberal hypocrite), is brave, is mature, is a hero and has seen it all.

Obama is a left wing twirp with no executive experience and who again would not even have been elected dog-catcher had he not been half-black. True, he is acedemically successful (quotas?). But so are millions of others...so what? You want this Illinois ghetto "organizer" with ties to the most radical, left-wing haters in the US to lead us in a time of crisis? You're a fool.

@ 10:27 am

I see you mentioned "quotas;" just a note, Obama was extremely successful academically, from high school through law school. He attended a very well-respected high school, did well at Columbia, and was president of the Law Review at Harvard. He even taught at University of Chicago Law School for a number of years; U of Chicago Law has one of the most impressive collections of faculty in the country. Even putting aside his double-Ivy status, his academic record is quite impressive.

I'm by no means an Obama supporter (I'm a fiscally-conservative Republican who most likely will support McCain), but I think chalking up his academic success to "quotas" is doing a disservice to his considerable intelligence.

Apparently, the truth hit a nerve with you ladies.

Obviously, you've never owned a real automobile like a Toyota. It's a rare occurrence when a Toyota needs to be repaired, unlike Chevrolet's. You have much to be proud of with that Cavalier, which is made by the soon-to-be bankrupt General Motors.

On top of being uneducated and homophobic, I'm going to take a guess that you're also a member of the DAV or Disabled Alcoholic Veterans, too. You probably drink Bud's and smoke "USA" brand cigarettes. I sure hope you didn't reproduce!

Wow - This thread disintegrated into the usual insults and racial slurs just as predicted. By the way Mr. 7/3 11:26, John McCain should try getting through West Point too, since he graduated from the Naval Academy in annapolis. You undermine what little credibility you have when you can't even get basic facts right.

? - sure don't blame anyone from veering away from the remarks of this "rock bottom, disrespectful, deteriorating, scum-ridden trash."
It is truly amazing that people have so little personal self respect that it carries over into a hatred for any views of others which differ from their own.
2:31pm - it is obvious that you are the same person who has posted many, if not all, of the hurtful trash on this site; you definately need to seek professional help for your twisted, perverted, hateful interpretations of decency. If you continue along this path, it can only lead to a tragic endng. My worries are not so much for you but for the many others whom you may harm along the way.

OK.... let's see if I can get this straight. In an effort to exercise the privileges afforded me under the first amendment, I was called "dumb, traitor, classless, small-minded, ignorant, pathetic, a liberal ignoramus fool, and a dumb ass."

After responding to these comments, more loving words "rock bottom, disrespectful, deteriorating, scum-ridden trash," are leveled at me followed by a veiled threat.

Here's an exercise for you. Call all your like-minded delusional girlfriends together and take a look in the mirror, and tell me what you see. You'll see your assessment of me staring right back at yourselves; "people who definitely need to seek professional help for their twisted, perverted, hateful interpretations of decency."

Oh, and by the way, I've only stumbled upon this blog in the past couple of weeks and commented sparingly, so your hunch that I've been posting bunches of hateful messages is about as accurate as you illogical assessment of who I am, genius.

Lastly, please don't worry about me. Your limited time left on this Earth would be better spent pounding dirt. Happy Independence Day, Sparky!

You prove your the one who needs help and you prove you're a hypocrite as well.

And gee-wiz you still can't figure out who you're responding to! If you can't figure out who posted what and when, why would anyone think you know what you're talking about?

Anonymous said...

I believe the clinical term for what you're doing is called projecting, July 5, 2008 12:16 PM. You're proving you are who/what you are by your statement, "you need help, you are a hypocrite." However, I suspect it's beyond your comprehension to grasp what is happening here or what I'm attempting to do. Instead, your mind can't get beyond minute details of which poster I'm addressing.

For your edification (you may need to look that one up, Einstein), I'm replying to "the world." Do you really think I would waste my time expressing myself exclusively for the benefit of bristol bloggers? Furthermore, It matters little to me if anyone thinks I know what I'm talking about. I blog because I can, not because I seek to be understood or believed. That's up to each individual member of this blog's audience to decide. Apparently, you have made your decision, and I accept that.

Any other questions, big guy?
