Registrar calls the cops on Cockayne

The city’s Democratic registrar called police Wednesday after Republican mayoral candidate Ken Cockayne refused to move out of an area where voter registration forms are stored at City Hall.
It is not clear the Republican did anything wrong, but the police are investigating.
Registrar Mary Rydingsward said she asked Cockayne and Deputy Republican Registrar Gary Schaffrick to cease talking behind closed doors in the “secure file zone” and they refused.
“Ken then proceeded to challenge me in a bullying manner,” Rydingsward said. “He asked me, ‘What are you going to do about it?’”
