Democrats say they 'energized and enthusiastic'

Press release from the Democratic Town Committee:

DEMOCRATS RALLY BEHIND CHRIS WILSON’S
MESSAGE OF STRONG LEADERSHIP
Bristol, CT – Tonight, Democratic Candidate Chris Wilson displayed the strong style of leadership that will carry him into City Hall this November. He is committed to delivering the high standard of leadership that this City needs, and promises a collaborative process, and a transparent and accountable administration. He strongly stated that: “Bristol is at a crossroads. It has the opportunity to be a vibrant city where people want to reside, to raise their families, to live and work. Without strong and dedicated leadership we cannot progress.”
Chris Wilson contrasted himself with Republican opponent, Councilor Ken Cockayne, by offering thoughtful critiques of the current administration, and proposing a combination of short- and long-term solutions to revitalize Bristol. As Mayor, Chris will do more than just invest in creative logos and branding. Under his leadership, Bristol will offer a quality of life that will allow our City to compete on better terms with our neighboring communities, such as Southington, West Hartford, Simsbury and Avon.
Democrats tonight are energized and enthusiastic about supporting Chris Wilson. He is the candidate who will bring professionalism, experience, and a proven track record of success to the office of Mayor.
He will return civility to City Hall. Join us and vote for Chris Wilson for Mayor on November 5th!
