COO proposal not dead

According to city Councilor Craig Minor:
Mayor Art Ward has scheduled a special City Council special meeting on Tuesday, June 3 at 5:30 to "confer" with the Charter Revision Commission over the changes to the Draft Report that the City Council requested on May 5. The Charter Revision Commission must submit its Final Report within thirty days of that meeting.

Minor also has set up a Facebook group called New 62 COO to help rally support for the proposed creation of a chief operating officer at City Hall. Check it out.

I'd love to see Craig's facebook page but I'm not signing up for facebook. I wouldn't register on any of those networking sites if you paid me.

Looks like Craig wants to make sure that Ward doesn't get to be mayor anymore.

Looks more like Craig wants to make sure that everyone knows what a puppet he really is!

What does New 62 COO mean? I get the COO part, but what's the "New 62?"

Tom Doyle had it right when he called it "COO COO"

A variation on Kuckoo!!!!

What, ANOTHER Special meeting???

Isn't Ward the one that complained about special meetings before?

Anonymous said...

Probably Craigs age.

Yeah but Ward talks out of both sides of his mouth. Do as I say not as I do.

So when Doyle called it "COO COO" he meant Kuckoo, like "crazy"?

Wow, I was having trouble figuring that out! Thanks for the explanation. Now can you educate us all on what Moving Bristol ForWard meant?

The COO idea IS dead. Not even all the Republicans are on board. But one says he's for a public vote. Why support a referendum, unless you're for it? Talk about talking out both sides of your mouth. And for the record, the Labor Council would not endorse anyone who was for the COO or the town manager.

Not as creative as Doyle, but moving ForWard is just that, moving for Art Ward.

That is becoming clearer each and every day!

"moving ForWard is just that, moving for Art Ward. That is becoming clearer each and every day."

Is it really? Please do explain ~ exactly what does "moving for Art Ward mean?" Interpretive dance perhaps?

Nicastro has Rimcoski in his back pocket. Rimcoski is doing what ever Nicastro tells him to do.

If Rimcoski and all the others really wanted to the public to have a say they would have let them vote on the issue. But I guess they all think they are much smarter than the public!

MCCauley......working to protect the benifits of the union's!

Keep it up the good work MCCauley, we are all watching.....watching you in your last term.

I didnt' support Minor last election but I will vote for him this time around. It's nice to see councilman Minor letting the people decide.

Minor for Mayor 2009!!

Moving For Ward means that each and every move is For Ward, as opposed to moving for the people.

Art Ward is flailing without Krawiecki - he is still trying to connive a way to get him back into City Hall so he can do all the work like he did for the first 6 months. Without him Art can't function.

"Art Ward is flailing without Krawiecki"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ~ I don't know who you are (Ed?), but thanks for the laugh!

McCauley seems like a decent guy, but he is a lousy city councilman. I think he's just over his head.

Ward is only out for himself and his buddies - always has always will.

"Ward is only out for himself and his buddies - always has always will."

Yep, I guess you figured him out! He was on the city council for all those years and then ran for mayor...just so he could look out for some of his buddies...

And he did!!!

Anonymous said...

And still does.

Are you all saying that Ward is not managing people like Russo, Rosenthal and Klocko, and therefore he needs help?
