I asked a bunch of politicians today who they support in Tuesday's presidential primary. City Republican Party Chairman Art Mocabee weighed in first:
As a chairman, I should remain neutral, however, I can tell you that in November, Bristol Republicans conducted a "Straw Poll" among our loyalists and found that Rudy was the front runner. Well, we all know the wisdom of that choice! The second place finisher in the Bristol straw poll, who was also the first place finisher in a straw poll conducted by State Republicans in Middletown last week was Mitt Romney. However, recent state wide polling suggests that Senator McCain is the front runner in CT now. Breaking from tradition, I personally like the more conservative Romney and will support him.

Who cares what he thinks ?
So much for Romney's chances now thathe has picked up this "key endorsement" from Mocabeat.
I hope Art also picked the Patriots to win the Super Bowl:)
Hmmm lets see Larson endorsed Obama , Mayor Art Ward endorsed Obama, The Senate leadership endorsed Obama and several othe Democrats did the same, Colapietro didn't so who is doing what the party says ? You people are all the same ya don't knnow what you're talking about or are you lying again?
the fact the exercise is a primary should afford you the smarts to know that not everyone is going to agree - doesn't mean that they don't/won't join forces for the general election.
Good going Art:
shows you really have the pulse of the people.
What is your next move?
Again, Mocabee touts his personal feelings instead of looking to support who the people support.
Any more words of wisdom from Arthur?
And for my next act????
