During last night's Real Estate Committee, three city councilors - Frank Nicastro, Kevin McCauley and Mike Rimcoski - were just starting to talk about the downtown mall when Mayor William Stortz stuck his head in the door to the meeting room.
Stortz looked around and grinned.
"Is this where I throw the grenade in and run?" he asked.
Then he vanished.

Come on. Obviously he was just trying to be funny. That's an old joke.
Considering the war still in Iraq is still ongoing, this was not such a great response. Sick humor Mayor.
Cut the guy some slack, his administation is winding down and he's having a little fun with the "kids". Everyone knows hess a wize-alec.
