Foley, McMahon coming to Bristol

Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Foley is making a campaign stop in Bristol on Saturday morning.
He's supposed to stop by the Crystal Luncheonette at Mafale's Plaza on Main Street about 8:30 a.m. and then shake hands in a few other, unidentified locales.
On Monday, GOP senatorial hopeful Linda McMahon is heading over to Panera Bread at the Shop-Rite Plaza at 3 p.m. She's supposed to hang around for about an hour.
These are great opportunities to shake hands and ask a question. These are real people, not just television characters, and it's best to make sure they never forget that.
If you're trying to make up your mind about who to vote for, they're trying to make it easier for you. Give 'em credit for coming.

I'm sure these Republican candidates do not think of themselves as TV characters. Kudos to them for getting out there and listening.

McMahon & Foley!? One felon/liar and the other used her millions to make over her image so she could buy a senate seat. No Thanks!! I wouldn’t waste my time to see those two trying to buy their way into politics with their millions! Those two are so far removed from “the masses” they couldn’t tell you how much a gallon of milk or gas costs!

YOU MEAN SO THEY CAN GET OUT AND SUCKER YOU SOME MORE? MAYBE SPEND A FEW MORE MILLION TO BRAINWASH YOU AND BUY THE ELECTION?

I find it ironic that people are slamming Linda and Foley for their millions, yet ignoring that Blumenthal is wealthier then both of them combined. And then there is Ned Lamont, who as the great-grandson of J.P. Morgan probably has ZERO Wall St. ties.

No one can buy an election. Linda feels strongly about less taxes and less government, and she is willing to spend a lot of her own money to get that word out to you. Just because she's not using our money to finance her campaign doesn't make her a bad candidate. Quite the opposite! If you are happy with our state and our country circling the toilet financially, then she is not your candidate. If you are happy losing your freedoms, then she is not your candidate. If you want taxes to continue to rise until no one can pay them anymore, then don't vote for Linda. My family, friends and I are not happy with these things, and we are all voting for Linda. As she says, it's time for something different.

2:41: Liberal McMahon: "Time for something different." Just a little twist on Obama's "change"...I don't know about you, but I've had enough of "something different" to last me a lifetime. Maybe she should go back to wrestling and continue her career fooling people who want to be fooled.
