Dog park opens at Rockwell Park

The first time anyone mentioned a dog park in Bristol in my memory was back in 2001. By 2006, a committed group of volunteers was raising money and pushing for a site. Yesterday, the new B.A.R.K. Park at Rockwell Park officially opened. You can read about it here.
It's kind of a a neat spot for an off-leash dog park, with lots of trees in the middle of the woods. That's so much nicer than most dog parks, where shade is either non-existent or paltry.

I thought there was a dog park up on chippens hill . I seem to recall folks getting upset because nebody was picking up their dogs crap . I guess they must have decided to spread the smell around .

The smell is from Ward - speaking out of both sides of his mouth.

I find the name "BARK" offensively close to the name of the "BARC" association on Jerome Ave.

Do a google on "dog park Bill Zardus".
You will see problems with dog parks.
They need to have rules, and people need to be responsible.
Bill pushes for this
I for one welcome the dog park

9:32 PM, Actually, I believe the smell you're experiencing is caused by your head being shoved so far up your butt.

9:53am - c'mon Artie the truth must really hurt you blogging this early. By the way, if you don't believe it - smell your own breath!
They do sell mints at CVS across from city hall.
