lets see spend 250 k to save what ? why not let the elected guys do their job and fire a couple of these poor performers they call dept heads

NO ONE HAS THE GUTS TO FIRE DEPT HEADS. THEY JUST KEEP THE WASTE.

Interesting stuff Steve, thanks for posting. It looks like they put a lot of thought into the drafting of the report.

One question I had, though, was regarding the residency provision. I would think that they would initially limit the field to current Bristol residents, and if a suitable candidate could not be found, they would then broaden the search to residents of other cities and towns.

I can see how the non-resident provision would open the field up to those who would be Bristol "political outsiders," so to speak, but that it still surprised me a bit.
