Hey Rich or any other like minded citizens.

I've had minimal political experience. I served on one of the political town committees. I gave it up partly due to the concept that the two parties work to keep their respective parties in office first, themselves second (or vice versa), perhaps then to help friends and family and at some point, although I don't know where, some thought is given to the welfare and best interests of the town and it's citizens. I use the term "some thought" loosely.

I'd consider getting involved again but you really need to cover the majority, if not all of the bases to be effective. The politics in this town have run amock for many years and we are now seeing the full effect, though it can and will get worse if no one acts to right the ship.

Anyway, I'll check back for interest. If there is interest we can look to getting something going and take it to another venue, probably exchange email addresses.

I thank Steve Collins and "The Bristol Press" for this blog but I don't think a continued blog of our own would be appropriate here.

For now call me Concerned Citizen 1.
