Update on Renaissance and the BDDC

The regularly scheduled Bristol Downtown Development Corp. meeting on Monday, Aug. 11 has been cancelled. Officials expect to hold a special meeting on or after Aug. 18 to accept a new plan from Renaissance Downtowns about what it would take to building Building B along Main Street. It is unlikely to take any action on the proposal other than making it public. The BDDC will have public meetings in September and October to go over the two Renaissance submissions and figure what, if anything, it should do.
