Colapietro endorsed by pro-choice group

The NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut PAC just released a list of candidates it's endorsing this year who are "deemed by the PAC to be 100 percent pro-choice."
Only one Bristol candidate appears among those endorsed - state Sen. Tom Colapietro, a Democrat who has represented the 31st District since 1992.
"All candidates endorsed by NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut PAC pledge, if elected, to vote against anti-choice bills, including those that would restrict access to the full spectrum of reproductive health services – from contraception, to carrying a healthy pregnancy to term, to choosing a safe and legal abortion. Pro-actively, endorsed candidates support comprehensive, age appropriate sexuality education that is based on medically accurate information, and all support equitable and timely access to emergency contraceptionm," according to the group's press release.
“We are so pleased to have so many candidates who are advocates for women’s reproductive health,” said Cari Carter, PAC chair, according to the release.
"The NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut PAC is confident that if elected, each and every one of our endorsed candidates will protect choice, work to improve access to emergency contraception, and defend against amendments and bills that attempt to chip away at our reproductive freedom.”

BABY KILLER!

Anonymous said...

Too bad the Republicans did not put up a candidate.

Anonymous said...

Is that all you guys can do is call people names? I'll bet you don't even knnow Geladinos stand on anything. I wish you were intelligent enough to hear how immature you all sound. Thank god all Republicans don't think like you. Adolecents.

Anonymous said...

Has Geladino announced his position on ANYTHING????

If so, where???
Is he still running?

Anonymous said...

I am vehemently PRO-CHOICE !!!!

I just do NOT believe that MURDER should be one of the choices .

If you were an aborted fetus, you would be dead.

What are you referring to anyway?

Anonymous said...

ABORTION IS MURDER!

That's why Colapietro is disliked as a Senator by Catholic Priests (like Father Nick).

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the lay up 1:23PM:

We hate Colopietro and his politics that tax and spend like drunken sailers. He would not know a tax cut if it caused him to bleed to death.

Anonymous said...

Murder for you pro lifers is waiting at a clinic to KILL some one in the name of Pro-Life. Ha

Anonymous said...

What's wrong with this blog? Politicians names can be mentioned all the time but not Republicans like T.J. , Mocabe or Alex Carros?

Anonymous said...

What's worse than calling a politician a baby killer than that? It's OK to call politicians names and protect the names of these namecallers ?

Steve Collins said...

I don't know the names of the namecallers -- and neither do you. They're anonymous, for better or worse.

Anonymous said...

Agreed that's why I'd like the same right as the namecallers that's all.

I do not know Father Nick.....but in general, I would say most people's thoughts would be.....

WOW.....like Catholic Priests are role models?!?!?!?

HELLO have we so SOON forgotten about all the children that those Catholic Priests have molested over the years?

What's your name?

Anonymous said...

"What's worse than calling a politician a baby killer than that (sic)?"

--How about the killing of an unborn child?

--How about being endorsed by a group that promotes such action?

Steve Collins said...

To 5:16 a.m.:
I have no problem with people mentioning anyone's name in a reasonable context as long as they're not making the assumption that some anonymous posting was written by a particular person.
Politicians are, by and large, fair game. So is TJ, who is the GOP chairman in town, and to a lesser degree Mocabee, who remains some kind of GOP official.
But Alex is, as far as I know, just a regular citizen.

Anonymous said...

How about sniping at a Clinic? Pro-Life Ha. You mean Pro-Republican.
Murderers.

Anonymous said...

You mean sniping just like on here?

Anonymous said...

Colapietro was against civil unions and gay marriage until the Democrat leadership and the AFL-CIO told him what to do on that issue. He's just a silly pawn.

The term "baby killer" was a joke in regards to Toupee Tom. Lighten up you whining hacks. He's sure to win again this year anyway.

Anonymous said...

Must be nice to stay a cowardley anonoymous name calling hatemonger!
You ghosts aren't worth doing anything.

Anonymous said...

And what does Geladino have to say about this?

Anonymous said...

August 13, 2008 9:08 PM:

Just like you.

And it IS pathetic that you don't know how to spell "cowardly".

Anonymous said...

And of course "all" of you have no typos and spell perfectly. Back to your nit picking again. You are going to grow up some very unhappy people. (If not already) COWARD !!!! No matter how you spell it that's what you are !

Anonymous said...

Hey 8:27 "Colapietro Hater" As usual you clowns don't know what your talking about or your just plain liars! Colapietro Voted for Civil Unions and against gay marriage. As far as doing what anyone tells him you apparantly don't know him as well as you "Want " people to think you do. You just want him to do what you want, and apparantly he won't! (thank goodness) At least you know he doesn't hide his name or what he does.

"The Catholic Church has paid dearly for accepting homo-sexuals into the clergy ."

They weren't homosexuals, they were child molesters...big difference...and the Catholic Church hasn't paid nearly enough for the hell that those children went through with those pervert priests.

My mistake.

Anonymous said...

That's OK 12:17 I knew it was you you were talking about and I agree with you and you are the reject! You are sooo out of tune !!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Yep !! duh !!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Who cares?

Anonymous said...

August 14, 2008 7:29 PM:

Right on!

Anonymous said...

The problem here is that being pro-life is a staple of the Roman Catholic Church (a great entity and stop commenting about child molesters aka gay-pedophiles).

Tom Toupee's opponent is divorced which makes him seen poorly with abiding Catholics as well. An example of the inept local GOP.

Anonymous said...

Being Pro-life just gives you something to complain about. But you're right it is a staple. "a pointy little object"

Anonymous said...

And seeing you are so concerned about Toms toupee why don't you donate to a new one for him? At least he isn't hiding like you ! OOPs I forgot you are supposed to be perfect , you big mouth coward!

Anonymous said...

Oh BTW as long as you bigmouths want to talk about what you want, I'll talk about whatever I feel like it. Especially if you don't like it !!!!!

Anonymous said...

Go Joe Go!

Anonymous said...

to 4:09 "and keep on going"

Anonymous said...

This endorsement by pro-abortionists is one more reason not to vote for Tom. My other reasons include him pushing past myself and my two young children on a street corner years ago in order to swear at Barbara Bush as her car took her to Muzzy Field. My children, now grown, still remember "that bad man." He's a poor example.

Anonymous said...

I know him and I don't know of anyone saying he was ever as rude as you republican liars. How many years ago are you talking about ? Your just grasping at straws like you always do. Boo Hoo !!!!!

Anonymous said...

Hmmm how old are your kids now? And how long ago has it been since Barbara Bush came to Muzzy field ? And how long ago was this supposedly have happened ? C'mom you have been perfect all this time? Your grasping again !

Anonymous said...

My kids are now 25 and 23. Some years later, when I was a councilman, Tom came to our meeting and asked what the issues were in town. Yes, it was during campaign season. Being our senator, you'd think he might have noticed what problems we were dealing with. We filled him in, but didn't see him again for two years.

Anonymous said...

Obviuosly 5:49, :54 and 6:13 is the same imbecile.

Colapietro is the rudest, crudest politician Bristol has ever known. He was rude to a non-abortionist a couple of election cycles ago. He referred to Bobroske's fund raising as "Barnes money" and stated he "was not afraid...(of her or it)". Even his colleagues in the legislature from the Democrat Party have scolded him.

"5:49" is obviously an ignorant, blind, fool and a Colapietro groupie.

Anonymous said...

Tsk Tsk just because the republicans are like that doesn't mean he was. You clowns ran the dirtiest campaign you could and regular people aren't buying your trash any more T.J.Time to grow up or go away !!!

Anonymous said...

And you 3:48 are obviously a T.J. Mocabe groupie! Got any more names?

Anonymous said...

3:48 Up to your OLD lies as usual!!!!

Anonymous said...

To 3:48 Too bad I can't prove who you are because I can sue you because you lie about things and offer no proof . You say anything about The politicians and can't sue you but I can. I see your getting desperate cause your up to your typical lying again, Lying and crying, can't you guys think of something different rather than the same ole lies you already lost on? Ho Hum again!

Anonymous said...

You silly little childress namecallers will never change so I just consider what you are and move on. Little children resort to namecalling. And as far as Colapietro being rude .....look at yourself. Oh and I knnow you must think your god but your not.

Anonymous said...

Seeing as we all know Tom Colapietro is on here I would like to ask what is he going to do to help lower taxes in this state and in this town? He loves to say his whole career has been for tax relief, but does anybody remember any tax relief since he got in office?

Anonymous said...

More whining from you.....ask him or are you afraid he might find out who you are ?

Anonymous said...

And 1:10 Pray tell us what good can you do when all you do is call people names on here? And of coarse coach your three goons on who to call names. What taxes are you willing to cut ?

Anonymous said...

First off I never call anybody names as I don't see what the point is and it seems childish and unproductive. I am asking Tom what Taxes he would cut! I think the business entity registration tax should be cut and I also think the gas tax should be cut or capped as why should the state make more money if the price of gas goes up and up! Seems like a windfall profit to me and how much of that extra money is actually going to road improvements in the state?

Anonymous said...

And how would you pay for it and who would you cut? And really we on here don't think that much about what people with no name want. Do you haave a name? Hus is well known by all of you name callers.

Anonymous said...

And the oil companies get greedier and richer under your philosophy. That's OK with you right ? That sounds like greed not windfall tax.

Anonymous said...

Why aren't you asking Geladino ? Does he have any ideas?

Anonymous said...

Who are you trying to kid ? Taking your orders from T.J. or Mocabe ? You guys are so prejudice and obvious!

Anonymous said...

I would start with cutting the color used in the elected reps mailings done in their districts if not the whole mailings. I also would cut back on Blumenthal’s travel budget as I read somewhere he racked up over 100k of miles last year alone. Maybe we should try and spend less money in Hartford as what has been the return on the taxpayers’ investment in that city. I also would cut back on the amount of money people get to run campaigns for state races, why does somebody need 100k to run a state senate race?

So the state is being greedy as they rake in more money as the price of gas goes up? Isn't that what you just said? I totally agree with you on that front.

Funny how a person posting anonymously attacks another for posting anonymously really doesn't carry much weight.

Anonymous said...

No...you should start with your name and affiliation but we know your all talk and incognito. And a republican know-it- all.

Anonymous said...

Colapietro's name is on here all the time being attacked by all you anonymous republicans. And like I said before you can't do anything but whine anonymously. You can't do anything if you only P@#$ and moan all the time and try to make the Democrats look bad.

Anonymous said...

It's obvious who you are and it is funny how you can try anonymously run the world! LMAO nobody cares what someone who doesn't have the courage to run or let anyone know that you care about or what the people want only that your beloved Republicans are smarter than anyone. Your whining means absolutley nothing!!!Except to T.J. A.M. and A.C. among a couple of others.

Anonymous said...

It doesn't make sense to attack somebody anonymously for posting anonymously!! Not once have you said anything of consequence, but attack, attack, attack!! Not once did I attack Tom I just asked what taxes he would cut in a polite manner. All the name calling and screaming is done by you.

Then you asked what taxes I would cut and what services I would cut and so I answered, not once ranting or raving like you. I thought this blog was a place to have meaningful discussion on issues in our state and town, so I try. Why should I put my name out there, when not once have you added anything to the discussion on hand? Do you want to attack me personally? Is that why you want my name? Do you have nothing to offer, but personal attacks? Try to have an actual discussion and not some diatribe that doesn’t make sense. What does this mean?

“It's obvious who you are and it is funny how you can try anonymously run the world! LMAO nobody cares what someone who doesn't have the courage to run or let anyone know that you care about or what the people want only that your beloved Republicans are smarter than anyone”

Just want to know what taxes Tom would cut? Not really out to run the world, just asked a question that many people are wondering out there, you should really try and do some relaxation exercises, it is not good for your health to be so angry.

Anonymous said...

If you were fair you would call his office like any normal person. But we are onto you and your republicans who do want to run the world from this anonymous blog. But who said you wanted to be fair?

Anonymous said...

Funny your questions are only asked when Colapietros name is mentioned. Like I said who are you trying to kid?

Anonymous said...

Ok, I will call Tom's Office and I am sure he will be more than polite and give me a very friendly response to my question. Tom what is you number?

Anonymous said...

I am not Tom and I'm sure his office number is in the phone book you phony .

Anonymous said...

Hey holier than thou look at this whole web and see how biased you guys are!

Anonymous said...

I just did and it looks pretty even as to the name calling and the unproductive comments. I really am glad you are not Tom because I would hate to think he is as abusive and rude as you have been on this blog. Goodbye and good luck getting that anger under control, it really is not healthy to have so much anger in you.

Anonymous said...

Gee ya mean I'm supposed to take it from you and not give it back ? Poor thing you can give it out but can't take it Art?

Anonymous said...

Also you don't see the Republican's say any thing about their stuff . How can it be even when you guys do all the press releases and wait for Colapietro's name to come up
