Still checking COO petition signatures

City Clerk Therese Pac said today that her office is still checking the signatures submitted on the petitions calling for a referendum on the proposed chief operating officer position. She said she's not sure when the work will be done.

I'm sure the union hacks will have Pac make something up to throw them out. There is no way this is getting on the ballot!!

I heard a ton of them were already thrown out. Someone went around and marked all the unattended petitions when they were left lying around. If the person who turned them in can't explain where the mark on the paper came from then the entire sheet of signatures is gone. Someone was paying attention and someone will get arrested.

The ones that were left unattended were not submitted.

this will never be on the Ballot! MCauly and his union boy's will make sure it doesn't happen. They know it will pass, then they won't have Ward giving them everything!!

Then there is no way 4300 signatures were turned in.

If your statement is true, just by the fact that petitions were not turned in because they WERE left unattended compromises and tarnishes the entire process. Throw then ALL out and start over from the beginning!

Starting over is not an option because the petition must be submitted within 45 days of the City Council's original vote. Your demand to "throw them ALL out" would be like throwing out an entire election just because two or three write-in ballots were defective. You are so anti-COO that you aren't even being rational.
