Turnout tops 2009, 2011 with two hours to go

Voter turnout through 6 p.m. totalled 29.2 percent -- not counting about 500 absentee ballots. That's already higher than it was in 2009 or 2011. We're probably looking at a turnout of abou 33.5 percent  unless there's a sudden surge or a drop-off.
