"Bristol, the city where dreams come true"

Don't click on this video if you're easily offended because the rapper who sings it, Jason "Fury" Flores, has some wording and phrases that are not for the faint of heart. But with more than 11,000 YouTube hits in the past week, this song about how wonderful Bristol is certainly belongs on the Bristol Blog. Besides, I'll have more say about Flores soon.

Ward, Nicastro: are you paying attention?

Steve, the song also states "Art Ward is a ho" and teh video shows a photo of Art in a wheel chair following his medical incident. So, its not all butterflies and puppies, here.

Drugged out rappers LOVE Bristol .... No surprise there .

Yeah, the man loathes Art Ward. I'll have more about that this weekend.
It is, I agree, not all butterflies and puppies.

This is hillarious. Give the guy credit.

I'm not sure they "f***ed up" 72, but 72 might f*** someone up. It's terribly dangerous.

As an almost lifelong Bristol resident, I applaud this attempt to show pride in the town I call home for 60 years. Unfortunately, the artist's scope is a small time frame dominated by deterioration and counter-productive growth. Why not encompass a broader and more encompassing range of Bristol's history and make it an attractive place for future residents and investment. Promoting your town by berating your neighbors speaks poorly of the artist and is demeaning to those who once made Bristol a great place to live and raise a family.
