Really nice Bristol Press. Too bad you weren't as kind to Senator Colapietro pointing out all the good that he has done for the community. Oh and by the way he has a nice family too!

Yeah, Welch has got to earn his keep now to justify putting his 7 kids on the state’s insurance plan. How much is THAT costing the taxpayers?
Internship committee, THAT must be a ton of work. lol. Judiciary committee, what’s an insurance adjuster doing on THAT committee? lol.

So an insurance company lackey gets appointed to the health care committee? real nice.

So a freshman state senator is now the SENIOR Republican on the Public Health Committee. It's interesting that not a single returning GOP senator thought that public health was worthy of his/her time.

Go, Jason!!!

Let's see where you go Jason. Show these wacko's what your worth !

O-scum:

Do you have any role in society except for bashing Republicans? I mean really. You prove time and time again with your rhetoric that you're nothing more than a left-wing, union/government groupie with no other purpoise than to try and make this more of a one-party state...one which is in decline because of that trend.

Let's hope with Welch on this committee we'll see an improvement. For example perhaps he can correct the errors that this Democrat controlled committee committed in failing to adequately communicate to the Democrat controlled U.S. Department of Health and Human Services how important the $100 million grant to the UConn Health Center was.

Concerned Consertive wacko is still at it I see. Useless as usual. A do nothing moaner. And lets see what your lawyer friend will do amongst all those other lawyers. LMAO we'll see !!!!

The fact that he is very anti-choice was probably a factor in his asking for this assignment. The women of Connecticut will need to keep a close eye on the doings of this committee.

He'll do better than your press-operator friend.

10:45 Just doing what you namecalling cowards have been doing to us for years. So I guess you and your insults haven't changed at all. I guess you just continue thinking you are the greatest. Not so wise guy !

I'm sure all the Catholics and conservative-leaning Protestants will be glad to see someone who believes abortion is immoral fighting for life of the unborn. Obviously Odin's never experienced ultra-sound at 3 months.

Anonymous said...

6:13 I think we'll see you eat those words. But of coarse like the coward you are we'll never get to see your cowardly face . So let's wait and see what your friend is going to do. So I guess your norm is now to caqll me some names. Oh woe is me! LMAO

I meant 11:30 Lord knows mistakes are never made by perfect cowards.

Hmmm "Conservitism" Welch his wife and seven children ,Fitchgerald and her family and Betts and his family . All now being paid by the taxpayers. Salary and benefits plan.
That's your kind of consertivism. What a joke you hypocrites are.

Odin said...

Actually I did see my child's ultra-sound, but (and this is the essence of the pro-choice/anti-choice disconnect): it doesn't matter what I think, since I'm not the person who is pregnant. Every woman should have total control over her pregnancy. That trumps any opinion you or I may have about it.

let's see what smoke screen Jason will be creating...you know republicans like to create a problem...then...come out with a solution to the problem they have created...like nobody knows what they did it in the first place...yeah...we all dumb and blind...

seriously...you better think again!

Odin:

Assuming you're in favor of late term abortions please let the men and women of Bristol know that in case you ever run for office. Or better yet, please write a letter to the editor explaining a woman's "right" to kill her unborn child in her womb.

In regards to Welch, sounds like you're very prejudice as is typical of ultra-liberal hypocrites like yourself. Only a twisted leftist would think a successful man with a large, traditional family is reason for alarm.

But of course an ignorant, high school dropout, with a history of being a union lackey was OK with you. There was no need to watch that guy as far as you were concerned. He was great. Good thing the people of Bristol don't reflect your far-left sentiments.

2:31 Well I see you republicans are still doing what you do best. Namecall anyone 2who doesn't agree with them. But what's new? They are and have been nothing but "useless namecallers. And of coarse nameless cowards. Mow that's dumb!

Anonymous said...

2:31 That was no joke! I know you guys don't recognize the truth when it's one of yours. Nothing but the truth. Can't take it? Go ahead and try to cover up the truth with your rediculous namecalling!

Anonymous said...

2:31 you must know them all because you emulate them well.

Odin:

Do you believe in god?

Just curious.

Anonymous said...

So Odin, in general terms, you think a woman's right to promiscuity is more important than the unborn in the womb?

Anonymous said...

YOU KNOW WHAT I JUST HEARD ABOUT WELCH!!?? He had his family's Christmas card picture taken in front of the capitol. I don’t want to think it but I think you have been duped by a MASTER politician. Having your picture taken at the capital, that’s what POLITICIANS do. And to boot, he wasn't even sworn into office till today! That really takes nerve and shows he really IS a politician just like the politicians he complained so vehemently about during his campaign...it’s sad my dear Republicans, but you have been duped. He LIED to Bristol.

Anonymous said...

That's so funny. With so few Republicans they HAD to appoint Welch to a committee. Don't you Republicans know ANYTHING about how the government works? lol. Guess not! lol.
And NOW it comes out that he's an INSURANCE AGENT? What happened to him being a lawyer? Oh that's right, once a lawyer always a lawyer even if you are an insurance agent.

Hah! The town will be BEGGING for Tom to unseat Welch in the next election...Welch is a Tea PARTY-er in disguise as a Republican. When the towns find out what Welch's REAL agenda is they will throw the guy out so fast his head will spin.

Anonymous said...

Can't wait to see Welch put in to the state for $7,000/ per child for home schooling.

Anonymous said...

The only place Jason is going to "GO" is to the state health benefits office to insure his 7 kids.
Bet WELCH & BETTS doesn't ask state employees to give up much in their benefits package now that they'll be cutting themselves! lol.

Did you hear that STUPID Rell said she wasn't invited to the Inaugural Ball? She sounds just like a petulant child not the Mother Governor. I'm sure she was first on the invite list.
If...If she didn't get an invite I'm sure the invite was “lost” by her chief of staff just like Moody “lost” (or was it “double deleted”) so many e mails and correspondence.

Anonymous said...

Our new Senator said he admires Bev Bobroske...isn't she the one who made the front page article titled "SHE LIED"? Isn't that the WRONG kind of person to admire?

Anonymous said...

Tea Party-ers just don't have the nerve to choose being a Democrat or a Republican so they invented a third party. They are chickens.

Anonymous said...

For the Tea Party’s information, the government has ALWAYS belonged to the people. But when you abdicate your responsibility to know the people you are voting for or cast (or don't bother to cast) your vote wily nilly you end up paying for that irresponsible behavior. And that’s the mess we are in now. Don’t fain a passionate interest in the government NOW when you never cared BEFORE.

Good point...NOT.

Odin said...

The two big differences between Tea Party politicians and other newly-elected politicians is their self-righteousness, and their stated refusal to compromise. Mark my words: they will therefore accomplish nothing, and the voters will throw them out in two years.

The Democrats in Washington passed a massive government run healthcare bill that will cost jobs and bankrupt the country. Obama stated his massive stimulus spending would keep unemployment below 8 per cent and it is 9.4%, which is close to twice as much as it was under when Republcians controlled Congress.

Newly elected "Tea Party" (fiscal conservatives) have promised to cut the massive government spending and borrowing that is ruining the value of the dollar, bankrupting the country, driving the wealth creating private sector out of the country and destroying our economic (free-enterprise) system.

God save us if they buckle to the trash that's been running Washington for the past two years.

11:28 You just sound like a self rightous republican. You are no better than what you say the government is . You want to tell a woman what to do but you don't want the government doing it. You're just another self rightous republican. Probably can't even have a baby.

Anonymous said...

Now there's something new.....NOT. A republican namecaller. "Go away Moron". I guess thes Moron can't think of anything new. LMAO
