Election results

I'm planning to live blog tonight at least a little. Perhaps the results will be here before they're anywhere else. Numbers should be on The Bristol Press site quickly, too, with luck.

Steve,
what time do you estimate we will have Mayor results!

We could have a pretty good time within minutes of 8 p.m. But we're almost certain to know by 9 or so.

It will be at least 2 years before we see any Mayor results, since both candidates are unlikely to do any good for the citizens of Bristol. Both guys are in the pockets of different special interests, and the city will continue to suffer. First from Stortz's lack of action, now from these guys special favors.

dont count on results on the bristol press being fast, http://www.courant.com/ will have it faster, they always do, lets see if the press can get it done this time.

Actually, Stortz did more than you think.
The BDDC will prove to be big boon to downtown and Bristol. Certainly better than the BDA and Rosenthal.

The Theater will be a plus too, and remember, he supported action on the schools.
His actions were quiet but solid.

I am no fan of Stortz but I have to give him credit for seeing the "diamond in the rough" that is the Memorial Boulevard School theater. I hope Ward re-appoints everyone on that committee.
