Turnout remains low

As of 4 p.m., just 18 percent of the city's eligible voters had turned out at the polls - 6,116 in all.
The highest turnout, at least in terms of numbers, was a Northeast School (77B), which had 834 voters as of 4 p.m. Next highest was Chippens Hill School (78A), which had 792.
C'mon, folks, democracy means more if people participate.
