Ken Johnson's campaign on Facebook, too

Though GOP mayoral hopeful Ken Johnson is not on Facebook himself, his supporters certainly are. The Ken Johnson for Mayor of Bristol, CT page has 117 members at the moment, nearly every one of them in college today. That dwarfs the numbers posted by his Democratic foes there.

    Luckily we don't elect leaders on the basis of their "facebook".

    We all know that facebook and myspace are attractive to the younger generation, but how many of those members are young registered voters? Are they affiliated with a party or are they voters ineligible to vote in a primary?

    I encourage candidates attracting the younger voters. Hopefully it will entice the viewers to register if they aren't already.
