Race is on to replace Badal

Democratic Registrar Bob Badal's decision to give up his post this year has at least a few Democrats eyeing the job.
Two potential successors have already filed paperwork to seek the position - Kathy Mike, who filed in January, and Elliot Nelson, who filed this morning.
Nelson, the party chair, said another contender is also likely.
I'll have more on this sometime soon.
The Democrats will endorse a candidate in May. A primary, which is almost a given, would be in August.
The Republican registrar, Sharon Krawiecki, is sticking around. She has no GOP opposition.

  3. Bob Badal put an intelligent, friendly and classy face on the Bristol Democrats, three characteristics neither party has had at this post (or any for that matter) in quite a while.

  5. Although Bob Will Be Missed, I Think Elliot Would Would Be An Asset To The Registrar of Voters Office...He Does A Great Job As Democratic Town Chairman...He's Knowledgable and Works Hard...He Has My Vote!

  8. Terry Parker wrote on my Facebook page that he is backing Kathy Mike.

  9. I would't know Kathy Mike if she kicked me in the knee, but if other choices are those mentioned she would have my vote.

  11. I'm Not Sure I Would Want The Endorsement Of Someone So Weird That He Capitalizes The First Letter Of Every Word In A Sentence.

  14. Nice to see the city hall union lackies posting kiss ass praise of Nelson while they are at work, good job Wardy boy for restoring their internet access for important and productive reasons.

This is all about Eliott Nelson being greedy to earn another city salary while collecting his fat city pension check, he'll be getting paid by the city to hang out with his pal Art Ward. I wonder what job Ward has in mind for Tom Ragani since his experience pushing around a toilet paper cart as a state employee is so valuable to the city.

  18. 5:48PM~It's Not All About Elliot...Do I Sense Some Hostility and Jealousy in Your Tone...I and Others Don't Think Elliot is Being Greedy at All...And Believe That He Would Do A Great Job as Registrar...It's Not Good For You To Be Angry...Calm Down...

  19. I Believe Elliot Nelson WILL NOT Support Terry if He Runs Again...I Wouldn't Blame Him at All...Especially After All Elliot Did For Terry...How Soon He Forgot, It Works BOTH WAYS!

  20. the dems have that ever present element that's only aim is to screw everything up because they are still pouting over their losses over the past few years rather than trying to do something productive for the party.
why don't they step up and form their own party if they think that their ideas are so good?
nevermind, that would take guts because they would have to become public.
