  2. Murphy has voted straight part line while in the congress. He follows the liberal line of tax, spend and socialism.

  8. Oh my gosh, I can't believe you're quoting Fran Lebowitz. Who next? Perhaps Gore Vidal?

  11. Those are better than a quote from Fran Lebowitz (a virtual know-nothing), but five minutes of internet research is hardly worth a "touche'", unless (of course) you are a West-Conn student.

  12. I shouldn't give "anonwestconn" that much credit. Finding those quotes probably took her half a day.

Vidal is a fool (and a pervert) who states foolish things abundently.

Keynes of course was very smart, but his theory that enormous gov't spending boosts the economy has proven historically to be false except in perhaps one circumstance, World War Two (Anyone for WW3?). Through the mid-twentieth century Keynes' folly gave way to more factual theories such as those by Milton Friedman.

Now back to school young lady! Better yet, get a job.

  14. If someone at Westconn is saying an economic boom happened after World War 2 that had anything to do with policy derived from Keynesian theory is feeding you a pile of s___.

I believe Keynes was for manipulating interest rates in order to stimulate growth in addition to government spending massive amounts to grow the economy. The latter being the most ridiculous, both theories are flawed at best.

I have a job and a life. And what you need is a spanking.

    No its fact.

Manipulating interest rates? Massive government spending? Add in irrational markets and dangerous deregulation and you have George Bush's economic record.

FDR's Keynesian policies prolonged the Depression.

And you're statement's about conservatives are all a farce.

What is truth is that you're a twisted left wing zealot...who needs a spanking.

You consistantly use bad punctuation. How on earth do you expect us to believe you understand Keynesian Economics?

  19. I'm a conservative who believes in the basic ideas that our country was founded, not ones of 19th century socialists, 20th century Marxists or 21st century progessives.
